- Praying Tahajjud – The best prayer after the fardh (obligatory) salah.

The best dua for Laylat-al-Qadr is the dua the Prophet (PBUH) taught Aisha (R.A.) She is reported to have asked the Prophet (PBUH), “O Messenger of Allah If I know which night is Laylat al-Qadr, what should I say?” He said:
“Say: اللَّهمَّإنَّكعفُوٌّتُحبُّالعفوَفاعْفُعنِّي
Allahummainnakaafuwwuntuhibb al-afwafa’fu anni
(O Allah, You are All-Forgiving, and You love forgiveness, so forgive me).”
Signs of Shab-e-Qadar
There are some special signs that indicate Shab-e-Qadar, as mentioned in Hadith:
- The night is calm, peaceful, and pleasant.
- No shooting stars appear in the sky.
- The sun rises the next morning with no strong rays, appearing soft and white.
- The heart feels immense peace and comfort during worship.

First Revelation of the Quran
On this night, the first verses of the Quran were revealed to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in Hira Cave by Angel Jibreel (AS). The verses revealed were:
“Read! In the name of your Lord who created.” (Surah Al-Alaq 96:1)
